It’s hard to believe that it’s already been an entire year since we opened the doors to Simple Self Store, and what a year it’s been! When we launched in August 2024, our goal was… well, simple! To provide secure, flexible, and affordable storage solutions to local people and businesses. As we celebrate our first birthday, we’re proud to look back at how far we’ve come, and it’s all thanks to our wonderful customers and community!
Here’s a look back at what we’ve been up to over the last year:
From 48 units to 122… and still growing!
We started out with just 48 internal self storage units, and thanks to increasing demand and continued support from our customers, we’ve been able to more than double that number in just 12 months. We now have 122 internal self storage units available! It’s been incredible to see so many businesses and individuals making use of our self storage space, whether it’s for storing personal items during a house move or keeping tools and stock safe.

Expansion into outdoor container storage
As more people came to us with larger and more flexible storage requirements, we knew it was time for us to expand again. This is why we introduced outdoor container storage, perfect for those needing drive up access and a bit more room to store bulky furniture items, tools, or equipment. Our outdoor storage containers have proven to be a popular addition, with our first batch of four containers selling out quickly, prompting us to order our second batch soon after. We’re looking forward to continuing to expand this side of our service!

Office space rental now available
We didn’t stop at self storage! This year, we also expanded into office rental, offering businesses, sole traders, and remote workers a professional, affordable and relaxed space to work. They offer a quiet place to focus, meet with clients, or simply separate work from home life. Our offices provide a comfortable and cost-effective solution based on your business’ needs. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see these spaces come to life and serving multiple sectors, allowing them to grow their businesses right here on site. Supporting our customers beyond self storage solutions has become an exciting new chapter for us here at Simple Self Store.

Installation of our InPost Locker
And finally, here at Simple Self Store, convenience is key! We’re always looking for ways to make life a bit easier for our customers and local community. That’s why we partnered with InPost to install a 24/7 parcel locker right here onsite. This gives small eCommerce businesses the opportunity to run their entire business from our facility, storing their stock in one of our units, packing orders on site, and shipping them via the InPost lockers. There’s no need to wait in queues or rush to the post office, InPost lockers are fast, accessible and contact-free! This service isn’t just for our customers though. It’s been fantastic to see so many residents and businesses nearby making full use of the lockers. It’s a small addition that’s made a big difference!
