Booking a self storage unit can be intimidating for some, but booking with Simple Self Store is easy. There are just four steps.
- Step 1 – Choose your storage type and size. Simple Self Store offers a range of flexible storage solutions, including both indoor storage and outdoor storage, with sizes ranging from 20sqft to 250sqft. To help you find the right fit, you can use our storage unit size calculator, which makes it easy to work out how much space you’ll need before booking. You will also choose your insurance and cover options at this stage.
- Step 2- Decide your move in day. If you need to change it, this can be done on request for no additional cost.
- Step 3- Add a payment method to your account. Simple Self Store will not charge you until your move in day.
- Step 4- On the morning of your move in day you will receive a text or email with instructions to set up your Noke app.
Day to day: Can I access self storage anytime?
If you are wondering whether you can access your personal self-storage unit at any time, the answer is yes. We offer 24 hour access self storage for customers who require it. Our site is open from 9am–9pm, seven days a week, where our team is available to assist with bookings, enquiries, and support either in person or remotely. For customers who need out-of-hours access, 24/7 entry can be arranged for an additional fee, giving you the flexibility to visit your unit outside standard office hours.
You are welcome to come and go as you please; there is no limit on how many times you can access your storage unit. Whether you visit your unit regularly or just now and then, accessing your belongings is quick and straightforward.
What happens when I get there? How do I access my unit?
At Simple Self Store, we use an app-based entry system. When you arrive at our facility, trolleys are readily available to help you move items between your unit and your vehicle.
Once you find your self-storage unit you can use the Noke App to access your belongings. The Noke app enables users to access their belongings without worrying about padlocks, codes, and keys. The Noke app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play. Setting up your Noke app is straightforward.

- Bring Your Phone- Our facility does not use padlocks, so it is important to have your phone with you to access your unit and your belongings!
- Create a System – Organise your storage unit to make it easy to find what you need. Label boxes clearly, keep a path down the middle, use the vertical space and store items you will need most often near the front of the unit.
- Know What you Cannot Store– Before moving items into your unit, take a moment to check which items you cannot store. Self-storage providers will have a list of prohibited items and this helps keep the facility safe for everyone.
